The artist from Florida, Christian Ramos creates portraits of celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj, from thousands of sweets, giving the art an entirely different meaning.









32-year-old artist, a native of Mexico, uses all kinds of candy, chewing gum, jelly, and many other sweets to create colorful portraits of various celebrities. Each of the works contains about 5000 sweet elements, and the big picture – motorcycle in full size, contains more than 20,000 pieces of candy.





Ramos says that the idea to create masterpieces out of sweets came to his mind 4 years ago when she was walking in the Park. She was inspired by the following picture: the father was treated to a sweet son, who fell and was crying. When the child saw candy, he was delighted and forgot about the injury. Seeing the smile of a boy, the artist could not help thinking that chocolates make a person happy. After this incident was born the obsession to create masterpieces out of candy, thereby to combine art and happiness. The artist did not use the paint.
