Indian scientist has developed a herbal de filter for drinking water

Scientists from India came up with a filtering system based on herbs which, according to them, they can quickly and easily remove fluoride from drinking water. The technology uses parts of the plant the three-bladed tridax as a biological carbon filter for ions.

In drinking water there are a large number of natural fluoride and the fluoride used by water companies as a protective agent for teeth.
In our time to reduce the content of fluorine in water using several different methods, including coagulation, adsorption, sedimentation, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, and electrodialysis. But, the introduction of bio-carbon matrix with metal ions, which is similar to the fluoride ions, is an interesting approach.

According to scientists, the bio-carbon filter may be the new cheap way to de water in regions where the natural amount of content of this mineral is high in ground water, including India, China, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Spain, Holland, Italy, Mexico and other countries in North and South America. It can also be adapted for reducing the effect of fluoride on human health in countries where fluoride is actively added to the waste water according to the standards of local health authorities.
