American students flying the helicopter "power of thought"

Now a helicopter is a quadcopter you can control the "power of thought". This technology was invented by students from the American University of Minnesota – electrical impulses of the brain are the control signals. When the helicopter flies no worse than manual control.
Participants of the experiment were five people, each of which could successfully control the quadcopter, not for using manual control. To read thoughts used the electroencephalograph, which received impulses from 65 electrodes mounted on special hats. They recorded the electrical activity of different areas of the brain.

Testers saw the image from the camera, which is mounted on the quadcopter, but in order to fly this helicopter they represented the left, the right hand, or two together, and the machine was turned to the right, left, up or down. Brain signals were recorded with electrodes and transferred via Wi-Fi quadcopter. Flight speed was 0.69 m/s.
