Today electric cars can't, at least not yet compete in endurance rates with machines equipped with internal combustion engines. However, this is an isolated exception and not a trend.
But because the FIA decided to create a unique championship, which will be able to participate only electric cars. By analogy with the Formula 1, the racing series called Formula E.





The Formula E championship 2014 will consist of twelve stages, each of which will be held in major cities around the world such as London, Berlin, Beijing, Rio, Bangkok, Miami, Rio de Janeiro, etc. Choice on these settlements fell due to the fact that an electric vehicle is, first and foremost, urban vehicles. And to promote them it is necessary in Metropolitan areas.
