Polish designer presented amazing pumpkin lanterns

Some people like to carve pumpkins scary movies on Halloween, but the Polish designer Przеmek Krаwczynski wanted to turn an ordinary product melon culture in a wonderful carved lampshade. Collection of lamps made of pumpkins, which is called “Cаlabarte” appeared in 2009 and continues to be supplemented by new instances, each of which is individual.
The designer says that highly value their time, to cut the same shades. Moreover, the creation of one lamp by Przеmek Krаwczynski takes about two months. And this is quite a long time for such a small product.



But the designer doesn't think so. He justifies his tardiness to the fact that at first the idea is born the future of the lampshade, and then he develops sketches, and only then can you begin to process a pumpkin. Each of these stages needs maximum precision and concentration from the artist, so collection so long updated with new units, and the shades are quite expensive – us $ 2800.



Within the model the artist uses a traditional halogen lamp, which cease to be ordinary as soon as the switch clicks, and reseau lampshade filled with light.
