The three most beautiful villages in the world

1. Biburi, England
Located in West-Central England, in the 19th century, the village Biburi described by the artist William Morris as "the most beautiful village of England." Given the fact that the whole country is famous for its peaceful rural landscapes, these words something so mean. The house of the 17th century, warmth, honey-colored and old St. Mary's Church – the hallmark of the village. And the most popular place here is the Arlington row: a row of buildings from the 14th century, which in the 16th century was converted into a weaving house.

2. Shirakawa-go, Japan
In 1995 this place was brought in the world heritage list of UNESCO. This Japanese village is famous for its houses with triangular roofs built in the style of "gassho": these buildings are similar to hands folded in prayer. The roof is inclined at an angle of 60 degrees, so in winter to accumulate snow. In this area there are not so many familiar houses, so that Shirakawa-go has become a favorite destination for tourists.

3. Wengen, Switzerland

Thanks to the Alpine scenery and traditional wood rural houses, Wengen seems to come with a beautiful card. Time stopped here long ago. Even car ban in this area over a hundred years ago! Tourists have chosen the village since the late 19th century; separately it was glorified by the writer Mary Shelley. To this day, there remain charming hotels of those times. Since the village lies at an altitude of 1300 meters, in winter it turns into an interesting area for skiers.
