Giant hedgehog in the Park in London's Clapham Common

Marvel is a hedgehog, he is a connoisseur of forest tracks. All in the needles gently prick hurt you. Incredible sculpture of a hedgehog appeared in February in Clapham Common – one of London's other parks. At its creation the authors took 2 months and 2 thousand chips that mimic the needle.

I must admit that at first glance, the sculpture of the animal is a bit intimidating. The fact that the length of a hedgehog is no more nor less than 5.4 meters, width – 3.6 meters, and height of the animal exceeds the average human height is 2 meters. Externally, a giant hedgehog is very similar to your miniature prototype.

The author of the project was Sir David Attenborough, who decided thus to draw public attention to the extermination of hedgehogs in the UK. Recently, the urchin population declined so much that scientists have sounded the alarm. They even created a draft Natural curiosities paid on this issue.

Giant hedgehog sculpture in London Park – part of this project, and another method to encourage people to charity. Many residents of Britain ruthlessly exterminate hedgehogs, not thinking that the tiny animals also part of nature and have to exist exactly the same chance how much the people themselves.

Whether a giant sculpture of a hedgehog to stop the mass extermination of animals in the country is unknown. But the fact that the sculpture has already become famous and attract to the Park a lot of tourists – it's a fact. By the way, like the noble goals of your work of a talented sculptor Gary Hovey creates animal figures from steel forks, spoons and knives.
