Vladimir Aleksandrovich Antropov is engaged in the cultivation of strawberries professionally, since 1976. Currently, the area of cultivation of this berry is 2 ha. drip irrigation-and evidence-based system of chemical treatments and biological fertilizing:

Three chemical treatments (spring eradicating Drug 30, the spring from insect — Bi-58 + Cyprostat, from the tick at the end of the season — the Drug 30 in lower concentrations);

Biological feeding (throughout the season every 15 days, total 10 sprays).





 

The farm uses about 30 different varieties of strawberries, mainly remontant, but also applied early, middle, late and medium late varieties.
The applied technology of growing strawberries, along with the diversity of varieties allows to produce marketable strawberries from may until frost. Additionally, the farm grows strawberries seedlings. The workshop participants enjoyed acquired not only a sweet berry but and proven varieties in good yield, taste, resistant to diseases – "Albion", "Charlotte", "Temptation", "Irma".

The strawberries are very beautiful and fragrant, and taste incomparable with any other berry, however, to engage in its cultivation on an industrial scale will require a lot of effort and material resources. And here at once the question arises – and even whether to do it or it makes no sense to compete with imported imported berries, which are in abundance on the market?! On this issue at the workshop was given an exhaustive answer, based on years of practical experience, leaving no doubt that the farming of strawberries is an economically profitable business in the current market conditions.
According to Vladimir Aleksandrovicha, even with a small plot you can get a good result in the technology and present a detailed calculation of the economic efficiency on the area of cultivation of strawberries of 0.5 ha.

From the presented results shows that the main costs fall on:

— seedlings, on a specified area will need 20,000. Seedlings are better to purchase in cups. It is costly – 1 200 000 rubles, but such plants take root better and give harvest 2-3 months after planting. The price of conventional seedlings within a 15 — 20 roubles for 1 piece, but harvest from them will have to wait until the next year;
— installation of drip irrigation, for this is acquired everything you need (tape, tubes of different diameter, different adapters, valves, etc.) that will amount to 29 900 rubles;
— well with a good chemical composition water, so its depth should be about 15 meters. As well as a quality pump and other little things to organize uninterrupted supply of water, total – 28 000 rubles.
— seasonal and inter-seasonal treatment against diseases and pests, and fertilizers. All scientifically sound standards and a penny should not be spent in vain – 21 780 rubles. We must not forget that the berry will eat children;
— covering material or mulch film. Its service life is three years, but they will have to spend – 39 000 rubles. You can certainly do cheaper means, for example, use straw or rice husks, but berry is polluted, lost marketability, and in wet weather the collection it becomes almost impossible. The husks of sunflower seeds cannot be used – ripened strawberries nakalyaetsya sharp edges on the skins and lose their marketable appearance;
— energy costs, harvesting and acquisition of the very baskets, in which we used the strawberries to buy, all of us together – 300 000 roubles;
— additional transport costs, fuel, purchase of equipment, etc. – 100 000 rubles.
 

TOTAL get — 1 718 680 rubles.

The yield of strawberries, for example, in America is about 3 kg per plant. In the region we have other conditions and not the technology, so we start from the more real to our conditions yield in the first year, subject to three fees (spring, summer, autumn) of approximately 1.5 per Bush basket. The price of strawberries at different times of the year are different – spring is very expensive, much cheaper in the summer and again in autumn berry expensive. This averages out to 100 rubles per basket. Further, it is not difficult to calculate that with a plot of 0.5 ha, planted with 20 000 bushes of strawberries in the first year you can harvest in 30 000 baskets and put them into 3 000 000. With cost accounting — 1 718 680 rubles, the net profit in the first year is 1 281 320 rubles. With such a margin practically is not like any other agricultural production.

In the second year, the situation looks even more optimistic. Costs are significantly reduced:
— to repair drip irrigation (tape) – 7000 rubles;
— electricity – 30 000 RUB;
— chemical and biological treatment – 21 780 rubles;
— the cost of harvest is 270 000 RUB.;
— additional expenses – 100 000 rubles.

TOTAL – 428 780 RUB.

The yield increase up to 2 baskets per plant and will be 40 000 pieces in the total collection. Price take the former (100) — get a revenue 4 000 000 rubles and net profit — 3 571 220 rubles.

It is best to have two adjacent plot of 0.5 ha. because according to technology of growing strawberries in the third year plot will have to change and transfer all the technology to another. If the lots are adjoining, the costs are minimized. published
