Rice fields in China, from the height of bird flight

These extraordinary beauty and scale images taken from a bird's eye and the images on these endless rice fields, which are located in Yunnan province, China.

When first viewing these photos it seems that this pictures some colored stained glass Windows, made in the XVIII century or demonstration of the work of artists on the impressionist art exhibit. And it's not like you think that it's in actual fact the biggest work of human hands, where for centuries cultivated rice fields masterfully made on the mountainside in a cascade of terraces. Interesting to see how the color landscape of these places on a monthly basis within a year changes.

Spring is more blue and blue colors when the rice sprouts are still very young and the terrace is completely filled with water. Summer is dominated by green colors and shades that give a succulent shoots of rice, and in autumn the slopes are covered with Golden crimson of ripe rice.

This unique cascade of terraces where all the year round engaged in the cultivation of rice in Yuanyang County in the South of China, area covers 2,200 square kilometers, and is located at 1000-2000 meters above sea level.

There are about 365 000 people and almost all of them employed in production farming as valuable to the Chinese agriculture.published
