The company Fibaro, known for its beautiful gadgets for smart home, has released a brand new product — SWIPE.
 



SWIPE — device Z-Wave made in the form of photo frames. The front panel is a capacitive sensor is able to recognize gestures. Depending on the gesture, for example, to hold your hand from left to right, leaves a certain team, for example, to turn off the lights in the room or to include a warm floor.



SWIPE can be attached to the wall or placed on a stand. Power is provided by 4 AA batteries or Micro-USB. The sensor recognizes 6 unique gestures: right, left, up, down, twist clockwise, twist counterclockwise. Gestures can be combined, e.g., up then down, it allows you to control Z-Wave devices or to run scenarios such as turns off all the lights or close all the blinds.



SWIPE does not show the digital photos, you need to insert a photo, so you can hang this photo frame next to the usual photo frames, and it will not stand out from their background, harmonious fitting into the overall look.



At home I use SWIPE to turn off all the lights in the apartment when leaving. But you can go ahead and SWIPE to hide under a Desk or behind a wall, then get the hidden control, for example to activate the alarm or send alarm messages. The sensor is able to recognize gestures at a distance of 15 mm.
