Paris - Nagaybaksky village in the district of Chelyabinsk region, the administrative center of the Paris rural settlement. The name of the village comes from the French capital, Paris, like other villages of the Southern Urals, which bear the names of European cities - Kassel, Leipzig, Arsi, Berlin and Fershampenuaz. These names originated in honor of victories of Russian troops in Italy, Germany and France in 1799 and the years 1813-1814: While the Ural Cossacks were the Russian Army independent regiment.



June 24th, 2005 in the village of Paris was inaugurated cell tower, designed as a small copy of the Eiffel Tower. Yuzhnouralskaya "Eiffel Tower" is six times smaller than the present.
