The first samples of such materials can withstand only Newtonian fluids such as water or juice, but were powerless against oil or alcohol. New material resists and non-Newtonian fluids, such as blood, or a yogurt sauce. The material can serve as a basis for the clothes, which never will be no stains, and in addition, it will protect the body from the corrosive acids.

Material is composed of silicone and organic and inorganic polymers. Drops simply bounce off the surface and roll with it, without leaving any traces. To demonstrate the possibility of opening, the researchers even conducted on the material aluminum plate, dipped in hydrochloric acid - and its surface is not damaged.
