Chinese students hair tied to the ceiling so as not to fall asleep while studying

The Chinese claim that the method is very effektiven

Chinese students have invented an ingenious way to prepare for exams at night and did not sleep - they are using clothespins hair tied to the ceiling or hangers. Every time a student starts to nod, clothespins pulled her hair up, and a sharp jerk does not give a person to sleep.

The method became popular after two students from the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Fujian Province were photographed in such a form and posted the photo on «Weibo». 20-year-old Chen Tang and her roommate 21-year-old Liu Huan had time to cope with the huge volume of material that had to learn as quickly as possible, and it was simply to bed once and wanted.

They tried to fight off sleep by conventional methods - caffeine, push-ups and lowering the temperature using the air conditioner, but it did not help. Then the students decided to look for a solution in the history books. They read about the two well-known Chinese scholars, practicing extreme methods to keep a clear mind: it was necessary or poke yourself with a needle every time you start to fall asleep, or to tie your hair to the ceiling.

Chen decided that the second method can be effective, and decided to try. According to Chen, the process helped her to clear the mind and in the future she plans to use it more frequently.

After the first photo of Chen with clothespins attached to hair appeared on the network, the process seems to have become viral: every day there are more and more of these photos. Some students just as Chen, use clothespins, others - scarves. There is even a girl who is tying a scarf around the neck, and a guy who, in order not to fall asleep, sniffing his sneakers.
