This project is essential to the success of building in Milan two multi-storey buildings with living plants on the facade began to be developed as early as 2011. And by the end of 2013th all the work had been completed. But why all this was built?
The fact that Milan - one of the cities with adverse environmental conditions. A goal of the project was therefore minimize the damage that was caused to nature as a result of rapid urbanization.
The height of the two high-rise buildings of 80 and 112 meters. The project provides that only they will be 480 trees of large and medium-sized, small height of 250 trees, 5,000 shrubs and 11,000 different plants, forming ground cover. Authors of the project say they were picked up by these tree species that are best adapted to the difficult conditions of life at altitude. Different plants specially grown and acclimated to the new building.
