CERN plans to run again Большой Hadron Collider (LHC) already this weekend, TASS reported. Work of the famous particle accelerator was suspended about two years ago for the modernization and renewal of his work was planned a few weeks earlier - in late March 2015.

The main objective of upgrading the LHC - increasing collision energy beams of protons in the accelerator with 8 TeV to 13 TeV. According to scientists increasing collision energy can give them a new tool in terms of research and will help to make new discoveries.

Starting the LHC has been postponed due to a detected March 21 short circuit in one of the magnet installation. March 31 issue was finally resolved and Collider ready to run. The first experiments on the collisions of particle beams scheduled to be held in May, but due to a fault may shift schedule.

Globally delay on the collider will not affect. Scientists plan during 2015 to accustom to the new plant capacity, and the full force of the LHC will start only in the years 2016-2018 after all necessary tests.
