I understand that it's hard to believe, but all the same pictures are really made in 1915.
Their author - Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky, a famous Russian photographer, chemist (pupil Mendeleev), inventor, publisher, educator and social activist.
How did he do it? Look further.
He used a series of three monochrome images in a sequence, each through different color filters. By projecting all three monochrome images restores the natural countryside views.
But of course not everything turned out perfectly. Little children, they are all the time stir :))
