Now, Seagate announced sales 8TB model of the hard drive, according to the company, the world's first HDD such capacity. In addition to capacity, the model is characterized by high energy efficiency and productivity.

Unfortunately, nothing more about the new disk is not known, there is no information even about their possible price. Nevertheless, we can assume that the price will be around 350-400 dollars, as earlier models volume of 6 TB sold for about $ 300 at retail.
