The bravest woman in Mexico

20-year-old student, Marisol Valles Garcia criminologist was appointed chief of police in the Mexican town of Guadalupe, located near the most dangerous cities in the country, crime capital of the world - Ciudad Juarez. Marisol was the one who agreed to take this deadly post. Spanish newspaper El Pais called Marisol "the most courageous women in Mexico».

Guadalupe town with a population of 3,400 people, along with the neighboring town of Praxedis Guerrero Bravos and included in a single municipality of Valle Juarez in the northern state of Chihuahua, which borders with the United States. This state has long been considered a place of these hostilities, which are maintained by the government against the drug mafia. Since the beginning of this year in Ciudad Juárez took place more than 2,000 murders and police are killed almost every day. War of the drug cartels in Mexico has claimed 28,000 lives since of thousands of the coming to power of President Felipe Calderon in December 2006. Since the beginning of this year in Mexico killed 11 Mayors.
