Origami for 1, 5 thousand pounds sterling

Someone tell me - do not believe that the most expensive and the most famous author of the paper "sculptures" -origami, it's not Japanese, and European designer and artist, known as Sipho Mabon (Sipho Mabona). At the time, his work graced the cover of the book of Japanese origami community (Japan Origami Academic Society), and to buy one of the works of this author, will have to pay neither more nor less, and 1, 5 thousand pounds.

And it happens so because Sipho Mabon with piety refers to the creation of origami, especially those works that makes his own. So, sometimes it takes up to several months to make one single figure ... More precisely, consider and draw a diagram. And it is very difficult, given the specificity of the author.

Working on origami, Sipho Mabon uses one-piece square of paper - and nothing else. Neither notches or nicks, creases and folds only. And flawless, thin, careful detailing of each figure, each insect or animal. During this work Sipho Mabon and valued in society as creators and lovers of origami.

It all began when the baby Mabon fashioned from a sheet of paper airplane tetrad. For more than 30 years, this little innocent hobby turned into a business of life, children's crafts and grew to a great paper sculpture, did not distinguishable from the original. It is known that the work Sipho Mabon were among the finalists' Red Bull Paper Wings in 2006, and are in private collections origami lovers across the country, particularly in Canada, Italy, France, Germany, the United States.
