Two months ago, the photographer Lucas Jackson was invited to the Applied Physics Laboratory - a temporary camp of plywood, laid directly on the arctic ice. Far to the north of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, the camp sheltered at some of British, Canadian and American naval forces, as well as employees of the Applied Physics Laboratory.
