Matthew Albanis - one of the few contemporary artists who, instead of using powerful computers, programs, three-dimensional modeling and visualization, resorted to more traditional methods of creating an artificial reality. Matthew makes a miniature scene. Surprisingly believable - especially with proper shooting those scenes appear much more realistic than most of the CG images. Despite all the achievements of graphics, the machine still can not reach such an astounding level of detail, textures, light, physical sensation. Although, they have pretty well animated virtual environment that can not be the case with the works of Matthew ... or too difficult.

Oilcloth as water. The lamp with filter as light rays under water. Clouds of cotton. And much more. Matt even made a miniature copy of landing Americans on the moon.
