The monument to Generalissimo Joseph Stalin in Tambov was set for the day of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The monument is a gilded plaster bust on a pedestal half meter brick.
Initially, Stalin bust was donated Tambov Communists their colleagues from South Ossetia as a sign of gratitude for the humanitarian assistance required after the Georgian-Ossetian armed conflict.
Monument for a long time could not find a place. We offer the option of placing gypsum leader in Rasskazovo or on different streets of Tambov. The final decision Tambov authorities determined the monument to Stalin a place in a closed area in front of a large Tambov parts store. Now the monument stands between the parking area for customers and samples of goods outside the main entrance to the store. Since the monument was erected in the service area, access to it is limited to the time of the shop.
