According to it in 2008, "Almaz-Antey" launched which has no analogues in our country project of formation and development and manufacturing complex in St. Petersburg - Northwestern Regional Center (SZRTS). The center is intended to unite the five leading enterprises - Obukhov plant, in whose territory is created SZRTS, factory radio equipment, KB SM, Russian Institute of Radio Navigation and Time, All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Radio - in the interests of development and modernization of the newest air defense systems.
