It was in 1992. Inventor of the Web, Tim Berners-Lee asked a colleague to give him a picture of the girls with the recent exhibition at the CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research, the difference between the construction of the LHC). He was going to upload this photo to FTP and publish in the recently established information system World Wide Web. This is how the Internet appeared the first foto.
