Incredibly complex 3D sculptures made of paper

Using rare thin paper from around the world, Julie Wilkinson (Julie Wilkinson) and Juan Horskroft (Joyanne Horscroft) of Makerie create incredibly complex 3D sculptures made of paper, the likes of which we've never seen before. Artist working in London, said that they were inspired by the "forgotten worlds, rare prints and beauty of details." This becomes quite clear when we look at their portfolio.

For example, looking at their sculptures of birds - whether the owl made a life-size of the ancient world atlas, or a gorgeous peacock feathers with beautiful layered - we can only marvel that amount of time, patience and passion that went to the creation of each of these stunning works.
