In the final Wild beat the Swiss athlete Nevin Galmarini. The bronze medal went to Jean Koshiro from Slovenia.
Winning Wilde brought to the treasury of the Russian national team six gold Olympics in Sochi became the first country in the sport history. Total assets of the Russian team was after this victory 21 award: six gold, eight silver and seven bronze medals.
