The UAE has started the project of using unmanned vehicles for the delivery of essential goods

The idea of ​​delivery of goods with the help of unmanned robots (this is almost always used quadrocopters) is becoming popular in recent years.
At the same time, a similar project will be implemented at the state level in the United Arab Emirates.
February 10 here был announced a prototype of a new unmanned battery kvadrokoptёra.
Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who personally attended the flight test apparatus.





It is planned that the machines will be used to deliver small cargo and documents, which you want to deliver in a short time (passport, driving license, drugs, etc.).



According to the developer, quadrocopter width of 45 centimeters can fly a distance of 3 kilometers at a speed of 40 km / h and carry a payload of up to 1, 5 kg and at the time of release should cost less than 4,000 dirhams (roughly equivalent to the amount of $ 1,000) . Given the very hot climate of the UAE, the UAV is able to withstand the intense heat and sandstorms.
To protect against unauthorized access to cargo, quadrocopter will be equipped with a fingerprint scanner and a system of recognition of the unique features of the eye (very popular in the UAE).
According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed al-Gergavi, test trials drones will be held within six months in Dubai and their follow-up project will be launched across the country.
